Two sociology students were a part of a team that won the GW New Venture Competition. Jayden Bourne (Sociology), Khari Crooms (Sociology), Bryce Lawson (SMPA), and Sam Linder (Economics) found a problem in the music industry dealing with exposure for local/underground artists. They plan on alleviating this problem through their application -- Put Me On (PMO) which is a social media streaming service that is dedicated to the development of local/underground artists across the nation. They plan on developing an engaging social media platform that is centered solely around artists and the music they create. View their promotion video.
