Edward Berchick

Edward Berchick teaches courses related to health inequalities and social statistics. He is currently a demographer at the U.S. Census Bureau. His research interests focus on health inequalities across age, cohorts, and populations, as well as on related measurement puzzles. A key theme of his research is the link between social inequality and health as cumulative inequality unfolds across the life course.

Prior to moving to Washington, DC, he was a postdoc at Duke University.
