Andrew Barondess was born and raised in McLean, Virginia. After high school, he went to California for college and shortly thereafter decided to take a break and join in the military.  He served in the U.S. Army, and was stationed in Alaska and Afghanistan. After the military, Andrew studied Sociology and was particularly fascinated with studying the death penalty. Currently he is working on his senior thesis focusing on racial disparities when implementing the death penalty. After graduation, Andrew will attend law school and is interested in corporate litigation.
